Where we work

The group launches at Taiwan Tech in August 2026. The in-house instrumentation listed below is planned for the lab and will come online progressively as funding is secured.

The work the group is known for, however, happens at synchrotron light sources. We maintain established access at Taiwan's NSRRC and an active collaboration at the Advanced Photon Source at Argonne for advanced X-ray characterization of working batteries.

Through ongoing collaboration with the imaging group at APS and Prof. Shirley Meng's group at the University of Chicago, we access world-class X-ray micro-computed tomography and high-energy synchrotron beamlines for 3D non-destructive battery characterization.
